Replay Mode provides a WYSIWYG preview of the subtitles overlaid against the video and fully synchronised against the video playback.
Press F7 to enter Replay Mode, or use the appropriate button on the Modes toolbar.
Play the media and view the subtitles in the video window, each subtitle will appear when its In time is reached and disappear when its Out time is reached.
A full screen option is available by pressing Alt Return. (When in full-screen mode, press Alt Return or Esc to revert to the normal window.)
You can choose if you want the video position to automatically track the current subtitle timecode when the media is paused. This is done via the Configure media options.
Text and timecode edits are still possible in replay mode, although some other editing features and options are disabled. These include:
File exports
Clear all section markers
Create file from Shot Changes
Create File from Speech Onset
Convert Numbers to Arabic
Some strange behaviour may be apparent if the file contains timing errors (e.g. out-of-sequence subtitles), in which case press F5 to revert back to edit mode and correct the timing anomaly.
