Polistream is known globally for being the most flexible captioning and subtitling encoder and transmission system on the market. By utilizing an array of software modules and internal cards we are able to create a subtitle transmission system that meets your exact requirements now and into the future.

Polistream has a rich history, under Screen Subtitling Systems, of adopting to new formats and distribution schemes and BroadStream is committed not only to keep Polistream in a leadership position but to also ensure that Polistream remains an independent brand within the broadcast industry.

Our server, pictured below, has been updated with new hardware and new software will continue to be released.

Polistream systems are generally hosted on our own U8100 1RU Windows server units, although for some IP centric applications Polistream can also be provided as a software only solution for VM installation.

The Polistream software is very flexible and can be configured to suit any subtitling workflow (e.g., multi-language subtitle file playout, live captioning, or format conversion/transcoding) and any combination of distribution formats (DVB, teletext/OP47, EIA608/708, as well as SDI open-captions and WebVTT for OTT contribution).
